Trojans Giving Back to our Community

An opportunity to reduce crime and save the environment

It’s the end of the school year, one more test question: How can you give back to the USC community, help reduce crime and improve the environment?

The Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the LAPD Southwest Division have teamed up to accept your nonperishable food items, worn clothing, blankets, sheets, unwanted computers, printers or other electronic devices 9am to 5pm on Wednesday, May 7 through Wednesday, May 14 on University Ave at 30th Street, west side of Troy Hall.

Signs will be posted in the area.

Your Donated Items:
Will be provided to the families in need in the USC community, and because many of these items typically end up in the trash, your donations will be reused or recycled appropriately and not taken to a landfill. Your nonperishable food items will certainly be a benefit. In past years many of these items have been found in dumpsters or next to dumpsters causing the community to look trashed and unsafe.

For more information about this donation drive, please call DPS Crime Prevention at (213) 740-6224.
