Research Safety Training

On This Page

EH&S offers safety courses and training to ensure that all participants are: (a) aware of potential hazards in their work area, (b) knowledgeable of safety measures to protect themselves; and (c) compliant with USC policies as well as state and federal regulations.

Identify Training Needs

  1. Consult the USC Safety Training Matrix for Research Personnel Fact Sheet to determine what safety courses are needed.
  2. Visit the Research Training Finder to determine if additional courses are required (e.g., Office of Compliance, Office of Research, or Contracts and Grants). Pinpoint courses rapidly by clicking on filters in the left-hand menu.
  3. To register for the courses, see Registration below.
  4. For directions to the training locations, see Training Locations.
  5. Email Safety Training with general inquiries or for information on a specific course.
